When the shocking images of Alan Kurdi, the three-year-old Syrian boy who drowned in the Mediterranean sea while fleeing Syria on a boat, were released to the world in September 2015, a family from country Durham in England\ was moved to take action.
Leaving their home comforts behind, Jamalulail and Sofinee traveled to the Calais Jungle to help the growing number of Refugees living in makeshift accommodation while hoping to begin a new, safer life in Europe.
Now Seif has decided to share his memories of that life-changing experience. He says, "At one point there were around 10,000 people living in the jungle. That's 10,000 stories. This is just one among so many others..."
