A commentary on Surah Yasin, written in English complete with diagrams and illustrations.
The Heart of the Qur'an is a collection of loving letters sent from God to humanity. The Prophet Noah would plead with his people, saying “I am delivering my Lord’s messages to you” [Qur'an 7:62].
With the current paradoxical climate of increasing secularization and the rise of fundamentalism across the world, there is no better time to search for fresh insight and guidance from the Qur'an. The Heart of The Qur'an is a well-researched commentary on Surah Yasin.
It is written in simple English and is complete with diagrams and illustrations to create an engaging read. The commentary is profound and inspiring, it masterfully highlights the nuances of the Qur'ān’s language and repeatedly draws the reader’s attention towards practical changes they can make in their lives.
Easy to read. So beneficial. Make me understand more the common surah among us, surah Yaseen. Have greater views in this surah. Will re-read again and act as my reference.

Well , despite the bad review given by someone.. i actually bought the book for its title.. and the title delivers .. despite im not sure which sources these are from, i got what i’m looking for which is a compilation of a good doa to add to my list
My purchase of books during mro has turned to bug me for real. I have unsubscribe to all annoying updates from Iman but nooo it doesn't work like that apparently cause once you're a member you're signed up to those email. Two stars - one for the book, one for the author. None for Iman for the late delivery and annoying emails and the fake friendly tone in all the emails you send.
Communicating with Allah: Rediscovering Prayer by Dr Bassam Saeh
Author: Dr Bassam Saeh

Genre: Spiritual
ISBN: 9780860377153

Format: Paperback
Learn to let go of your worldly worries during your prayers (salah) and be more mindful before God.
In a modern world of constant distraction, how are we to achieve the communion with the Divine that prayer is supposed to be? Rediscover prayer, with this book filled with short reminders containing practical examples to help readers attain a deeper sense of devotion to Allah.
Muslims are required to pray five times a day, but for too many of us these are little more than physical movements devoid of any spirit or divine connection? In contrast, the Prophet characterised prayer as “the spiritual ascent (mi’raj) of the believer.” In a modern world of constant distraction, how are we to achieve the communion with the Divine that prayer is supposed to be? How can we reach the state of the Prophet who would ask his Companion Bilal to give the call to prayer with the expression: “Give us repose through it, O Bilal.”
The present short but valuable work provides us with the answer. Dr Bassam Saeh, a scholar of the Arabic language, casts a refreshing new perspective on prayer in the modern context. With practical examples, and in contemporary idiom, he charts a path for the seeker of God’s pleasure to attain a deeper sense of consciousness and devotion in prayer. The short chapters of this work are designed to be read and reread as constant reminders for us to renew our commitment to the Divine in our prayer.
